Our Story

In the summer of 1988, I met a boy (Justin) and we became best friends. The next twenty-five years took our lives in different directions but in 2014, Justin and I blended our families and were dubbed "Team Dawson." Between the two of us, we have 8 children, three of which are still under our roof and are very active in sports, church, and other activities.

A few years ago, at a volleyball tournament, I noticed how many water bottles were on the courts. The players, coaches, and refs all had one covered with dozens of stickers that represented its owner’s unique personality and interests. 

This trend fascinated me and I began to do some research. I knew engraving wasn't a new concept, but I wanted to find a way to incorporate this trend into fundraising. 

That observation at the volleyball tournament, and the courage to reach out to another sport's mom kicked off our first fundraiser in the spring of 2019 (OC Softball sold over 300 bottles).  Since that time, numerous high school and club sports programs, in addition to other organizations have also been successful in their fundraising.

Several of the parents own their own business or work for incredible companies who have placed orders through the fundraisers, which 1) gives the program credit for the sales and 2) has opened new avenues for us to work with businesses for advertising or simply showing appreciation to their employees.
